Be a part of the WBC decision making process!
This weekend will be the introduction of Weston Ruddy Wheat. Our deep amber version of a classic American wheat. We think it is a fun drink for the St. Pat's season, but would like to hear what you think.
You will also soon be treated to our new Pepper beer made with a couple different peppers. It is based on our Emerald lager. There is much to enjoy with this one if you like it hot. Catch Mike or Corey running around and we will be happy to treat you to a sampler.

2nd Annual IMAs
The 2nd Annual Irish Music Association Awards were held here at O'Malley's last Wednesday. There was all a variety of talented artists there to perform and be recognized. Along with all the great music was some delicious Irish beer. Justin Dalton (the tall one) and Van Crowley made sure the crowd was taken care of. Visit http://www.irishmusicawards.com/ if you would like to see the results.

First Day on the Road
After a good long wait for licensing and planning, the first day of O'Malley's of Weston distribution is here. Sean and Justin are on the road as I write stacking cases of Weston beer all over the metro (Missouri side). This is also the first day of the return of the Pack-O-Craic. This is by far the best batch of each of the flavors so be sure to give it a try for the holidays and beyond. Be sure to give us a call or drop us a line if you need store information or have any suggestions.

Check Out This Weird Duck
Leave it to our regulars to burn their creative energy on this. Suddenly one evening there was a taped-together drunk duck (known to scientists as a "Pengu-ican") sitting in the hallway leading to the pub. We aren't sure exactly what the purpose is, but no one has the heart to take it away. So for more than a month this little fellow has been living in the hall drinking Drop Kick Ale. If you haven't met this new mascot, now is your chance. New Year's is coming soon and we can't guarantee his safety.PS. I'm sure the word "Jimmy" written in marker on his side doesn't mean anything.

Blizzard 2009
If anyone doesn't think we will go to any lengths to get your O'Malley's beer ready for St. Pat's let this be your proof. I departed for Wisconsin at 6:30am Tuesday morning to go get bottles for the upcoming Pack O' Craic and got more than I bargained for.I made it to Milwaukee just three hours past due, but the trip home proved more exciting. The top picture shows the first white-out on the way back. I made the 5 hour trip from WI to Des Moines in 12 hours and decided to spend the night in IA.

Then woke up for the trip back to Weston only to find I-35 in the condition you see in picture 2 for 100 miles. You might ask why I was driving and taking pictures. A fair question but since I am not one of the literally 100 plus trucks I saw in the ditch I should be commended.

I finally made it back in time to bottle only to find out that the line was screwed. (Mike will get that fixed). But not fear. The Pack O' Craic will be in stores next week as promised.
The last photo shows the recovery process beginning.
