The Newest Bar in Weston

Now that the brewery is running the Saint George Hotel you knew it wouldn't be long before we were serving beer. Longtime brewery man Justin Dalton serves the first pint out of the hotel bar to customer Steve White.
The bar is going to feature Weston products from Weston Brewing Company, Pirtle Winery, Jowler Creek Winery and the McCormick Distilling Company.
If you would like to visit us check out http://www.thesaintgeorgehotel.com/ for reservations and information.
We would like to give a special thanks to the Missouri Division of Alcohol for helping us get legal quickly and the folks at the City of Weston.

Trial by Fire!

Jeff Horn has been at the brewery now for months and finally got his big chance to prove himself on pepper day.
He cut the entire 60 pounds of fresh hot peppers that are added to the fermenter in each batch of Li'l Lucy's Hot Pepper Ale. The aroma of jalapenos and serranos filled the brewery for hours.

NO...we are not flooded.

The phone is ringing off the hook and I can tell you without reservation these three things.

1)  Unlike the keg wielding dude in this pic, we are not flooded.

2)  The water is no where near O'Malley's.

3)  The water will not reach O'Malley's.

Keep your plans to come and have a great time with us this weekend.  We'll keep the beer cold for you.

Drop Kick Ale will usher in KC Sporting's $200,000,000 Venue

That's right DK fans.  Drop Kick Ale will be on two of the eight taps in the Member's Club in the Livestrong Stadium.  Wanna be a member?  It's free.  Check KCsporting.com for details.  This is an exciting time for Weston Brewing Company as we'll be Kansas City's ONLY local beer on tap. As we wait for opening day, enjoy this sweet pic of Corey and Mike touring the nearly finished facility.

If you happen to be having brews at any of the other concession areas, ask for a Drop Kick.  Throw a fit just shy of getting ejected and we'll have a greater chance of acquiring even more taps.

West Indian Amber Lager Intro

We are finally getting ready to release #4 in the Brew Lab series. This is the first lager and has taken a long time to get ready to go. It has been more than a month since we threw in the fresh cut mangoes and peppers. Don't worry though this is nowhere near the fire ball that was #2. This one is relatively light in body with hints of fresh peppers and fruit. We are pretty sure you haven't had one like this before.

We will be introducing it at the pub Friday, April 29th. Give us a call at 816-640-5235 or email me if you would like to join us for the party. If you can't join us Friday grab a sample at the Parkville Microfest the following day.

April 29th Beer Introduction Menu:

Starter: Cajun Sausage Cheese Dip with toasted pretzel tips.
Soup/Salad: Tomato Tamarind Soup or House Salad with Mango Habanero dressing.

Entree: 5 spice chicken kabab or coconut shrimp with mango habanero sauce. Both served with rice, sweet potato fries and mint peas.

Dessert: Mango cheesecake.

Jesse James Beer at Long Last

After months of waiting and a small run with test packaging the Jesse James beer is headed to market. It wasn't the easiest week of bottling but thanks to some long hours by Peter and the packaging crew more than 560 cases are ready to roll.
Corey is seen here triumphantly holding a bottle that is about to disappear due to quality assurance "testing".

Be sure to check out the new product at local liquor and grocery stores across the Kansas City metro area.
